"EX-MAS CAROL" Burgess has booked the male Lead in this ABC family Christmas movie. Due out Christmas of 2010, Burgess can be seen opposite Christina Milian ("Be Cool"), Chad Michael Murray("One Tree Hill") and Ashley Benson ("Pretty Little Liars").

BOSTON FILM FESTIVAL: The Boston Film Festival Nominates Burgess for "Best Actor" for his portrayal of Bruce Snow in "In/significant Others" 

31st Annual Telly Awards Burgess and the film "Wesley" Have won a silver Telly award in the category of outstanding Religious or spiritual film.

"Drop Dead Diva"  Burgess is currently recurring on this hit show from Lifetime television. He plays Assitant District Attorney "Dushay".

 "Stalemate" Filming through early 2010, Burgess starred in this romantic comedy opposite Sheetal Sheth ("Nip/Tuck") and Josh Randall ("Ed", "Raising The Bar"). "Stalemate" follows the life of Kayleigh as she struggles to decide between two perfect men .

"The Trial". opposite Mathew Modine and Academy award nominee Robert Forster. A drama from director Gary Wheeler and co-writer Mark Freiburger, "The Trial" is the follow up to the "The List" released in 2007. Both films are based on books written by author Robert Whitlow.

"Hero" Burgess plays Joe Finn, a former Little League State Champion coach who returns to his hometown after many years away only to realize he has lost his wife and alienated his son. Through returning to coaching he hopes to win back his son and re-unite a town that has lost it's family values.

"Wesley"   In which Burgess portrays the title role of John Wesley; 17th century British pastor and founder of the Methodist Church. For this, Burgess spent 12 weeks living the habits, behaviors and conflicts of this iconic reformer of the Church of England.

"Red Dirt Rising"   Burgess went back to his roots as a southerner for this film about the moonshiners who were a part of the beginnings of NASCAR. Set in the 30's and 40's he plays the role of racing legend and Daytona winner Bill Blair. www.reddirtrising.com

"In/Significant Others"  As a PTSD suffering Iraqi war vet led astray by those closest to him, Burgess portrays the conflicted Bruce Snow. Bruce is the focal point of this ensemble thriller about misdirection and personal gain.
